Who We Are
Tackle for Change was founded by NFL brothers Devin and Thomas Harper with one mission: to empower and uplift the next generation through sports, education, and mentorship. Built on their belief that real change starts with investing in our youth, Tackle for Change creates life-changing opportunities for young people, especially in underserved communities. Through free youth football camps, outreach initiatives, and educational programs, the foundation inspires young athletes to dream bigger, build lasting confidence, and become leaders on and off the field. Devin and Thomas are committed to using their platform to open doors, break barriers, and create a lasting impact—one child, one community at a time.

FounderDevin Harper is a professional football player, entrepreneur, and co-founder of Tackle for Change. After a standout career at Oklahoma State University, he made it to the NFL, where he now plays linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to his football career, Devin is an entrepreneur, owning a Crave Cookies location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and currently building his second shop. Driven by a passion to give back, he launched Tackle for Change to host free youth football camps and community outreach programs, providing young athletes with the resources, mentorship, and inspiration they need to succeed both on and off the field.

FounderThomas Harper is a dedicated athlete and advocate for youth development, using his platform to create lasting impact beyond the game. A standout defensive back at Oklahoma State University and Notre Dame, Thomas has built his success on hard work, discipline, and a deep commitment to community. As co-founder of Tackle for Change, he leads free football camps, mentorship programs, and outreach initiatives—empowering young athletes with the tools, guidance, and inspiration they need to thrive both in sports and in life.
